The Color of Change

The Color of Change

fall is descending upon us
gently falling like a leaf from a tree
ever so carefully enshrouding us
in its cool, crisp invigoration
with its woodsy fragrance that reminds me all is well
Thank You, LORD, that
all is well in the change of season as in this change of life

This season speaks to me of healing and hope too, Diane. Lovely words. Glad to hear hope in your heart! ~ Pam, apples of gold

I so miss the east color change for the season. If we drive up to the mountains we can see a little change but nothing like where you live or where I grew up. This thought came to me my friend as I read, God is changing your colors as each season of this trial is taking you. I believe that red beautiful leaf in your post is your color now, the color is warm, inviting just as the red of Jesus blood that He shed for us. Out of great trials comes great faith, it become blood red. Praying for you.

Amen, Diane. This is my favorite time of year... although it is also the one that tends to usher in occasional bouts of melancholy. Seeking Him with you in this season of our lives.

Pam, so kind of you to stop by. It's been a long time since we've spoken. God bless you.

Oh, my wise-hearted Betty. Thank you for your spiritual heart! Actually, blood red has become my color in this season of life. Thank you for your words.

Floyd, it's my favorite season as well. There is nothing like New York autumn! The colors are exalting to our LORD. God bless you!
