That scene is great! They are pals! How cool is that... God designed even the animals to need companionship, even when they're different species. That made me smile...
Isn't it true? "God designed even the animals to need companionship". He sure did.And us - especially. Two walking together in agreement is a powerful thing! Thanks for coming by, Floyd!
I love animal pictures and to see two different animals as pals always makes me smile. Yeah it's the difference that get us...which should be a lesson to us. Fellowship is more important then our differences. Good post...
Yes, I like the picture and the message that comes across.Pals for life and for edification.Good that they found friendship and understood each other.I remember Betty's motto. Betty, do you remember that one? Better have some sweets with good company than broccoli eaten alone.Depression set in to those who make themselves islets. We need others. We are designed that way, no matter how diverse we may be.Blessings, D and friends.
Amen, Betty! Amen!
Lolita, you words are timely! More than you know. Thank you!
The pooch came by. The Kitty was already where he liked to be - higher up - BUT because the pup was "down" there, Kitty made the effort to go to where to dog was in order to fellowship. The dog's strong point? Waiting patiently....LOL!
Diane-I love it! As I try to "imagine" words going on~~~"Heh Cat!! Yeh, You up there-Have you got a moment? I could use some help!"Cat looks down, "They call me Mr. CAT! What do you need?" Dog tries again- "Sorry Mr. CAT-guess I spent too many times chasing after you! So please lets just put those days behind us! Right now- I just need someone to take a friendly STROLL with!"Cat says-- "Well sure! All you had to do was Ask!! Lets Roll!!!!"Martha's thoughts~~~
Nancy, good insight...maybe a good lesson for the Body of Christ!
Love your thoughts, Martha! You made me laugh. You know that's what we need to say to each other at times. Us humans can take lessons from the animals! Thanks for the storyline!
I love the images...it made me think of the distance that occurs when I have a difference with someone...I need to remember that while our differences can cause conflict, usually that's what drew me to the person in the first place, and when I take time to reach out we can walk together peacefully despite our differences.
Diane- Thanks for stopping by. I visited your blog, too. I love the design and I want to explore your journaling devotionals as I love to keep a journal. I have just started reaching out to other bloggers...it's so encouraging. I have blogged over the years, but this time I am trying a 5 day a week format with various topics...on Tuesday's I post a photo to spark conversation...just like your cat and dog post...I love the sequence.
