Words Fitly Spoken

God is sooo faithful. Truly faithful.

My pastor was ministering on relationships on Sunday. The first Scripture she referred to was about Cain and Abel, found in Genesis 4:7-8.  As I turned to the Scripture in my Bible, this portion of those verses stood out to me, as if in neon lights:
If you do well, will you not be accepted?

Knowing I'm facing the church BBQ on Saturday; knowing what the internal dialog with myself has been, my wonderful Holy Spirit, knew I needed an encouraging word.  As I read that Scripture, I heard in my heart:
Diane, You do well. You will be accepted.
Wow...just what my insecure heart needed to hear.  Just what I needed to silence the ungodly internal dialog going on.

A huge smile came over my face and a weight lifted off my shoulders in that very moment. That spirit of heaviness? Gone.

Free.  Hallelujah!

Thank You, Precious Holy Spirit, that You encouraged me through Your wonderful, Holy Word, and set my heart free. Thank You, my Beloved Companion. Thank You!

God is always speaking to us through His Word.  I'd love to hear what encouraging Words has He spoken to your heart lately.

Won't you please share?

Because of Him and Unto Him,

God spoke to me while shopping today. I was told twice to buy rice and both times I shrugged it off and didn't listen. I got home and began to cook dinner, only to find I was out of rice. Such a simple thing and yet, the Lord found it important enough to instruct me. How blessed we are, when we live in him.
If you are on Facebook, I have a page called Talk of Fame - Encourager. It is designed for anyone, to praise another and lift them up in love.

Mary, thank you so much for coming by to read and share. I love your rice story. That happens to me so many times, where I ignore His leading only to find out, IT WAS HIm.

And you are so right that we are blessed. We are blessed to love a God Who so intimately cares for us.

I will check out your FB page. God bless you!

I apologize, Crystal Mary, for not getting your name right. I will be checking out your blogs.

Diane, I was encouraged this morning by the first nine verse of Proverbs 31. As you know our recently divorced son share a condo with us and with God's help it has worked out well. God is using us again to re-inforce those truth we taught him growing up...the oracles of God. He is surrounded by prayer, encouragement, unconditional love and God is blessing him through us and the best is, "he knows it". If we teach them when they are young it will not go void and somewhere in their future the word will come back. Thanks for the encouraging post...you are going to enjoy yourself like never before as freedom reigns in your life. Blessings my wise hearted friend.

Aren't we silly with our self doubt? And isn't He so good and kind to us!

He really does care about all the little things...because the little things build up into the big things, and He knows it!!!!!

Pecious Betty, I'm in tears. Tears of joy and thanksgiving. God is sooo faithful! And your kindness toward your son is proof to him of God's Love for him. Hallelujah! I wish I could (((hug))) you!

Gives me hope for my own family! Thank you for sharing!

Welcome Ursuala! Thank you for reading and sharing with us! And you are so right, all the "little things" grow into large ones! I thank God for His faithfulness to His Word. I count on it!

I hope you will come by again!

"Draw nigh unto Me and I will draw nigh unto thee." Our Father tells us truth, we just need to trust. Thanks for your word from Him today, we all need this reminder of Truth in our lives. Thanks Diane.

Diane Ronzino said...

Isn't it amazing, Floyd, that God does not impose Himself on anyone. Draw near to Me first; you take that step of wanting relationship and I will then be near to you. Such a Gentleman! Thanks for sharing that verse!

It is so amazing when the Precious Holy Spirit speaks peace to our troubled hearts and we rest in that love. Know that you are "accepted in the Beloved." Eph 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

I love the way Betty put my:

"Praise Looks Good On You" calling it a dress. Wow Oh yes, when we are praising God, for everything, at all times, we are clothed in joyfulness. And so radiates from inside to the face. Isn't it wonderful?

I was so down the beginning of last week because I had three Financial Statements to do on their schedule. End time reports for my full time job, part-time and the volunteer on for Compassion International Sponsorship of our church. It looks so depressing while I was at it but towards the end of the week Saturday, I was finished and the afternoon become free - meeting postponed. I was deliriously happy to visit my encouraging fellow bloggers, and I wrote about Praise. For God wanted my to sing even buried under financial sheets and reports. "....I could go on all day," an alphabet full of Praises.

"Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous ones; praise from the upright is beautiful."
PS 33:1

Being grumpy all the time wouldn't help to finish my job, so why shouldn't I praise and sing? People around you will notice the radiance in your face even in the midst of labor.

Thanks D.

Missed cking in for a few weeks. Was away for work and I let my compulsive work style keep some distance between God and me.I love what Betty and Lolita said about how praise to the Lord brings radiant joy.Despite several messes in my life..I often feel bursts of joy just for thanking him 4 blessings.

Yes God is a gentlemen Diane, & Ifind the more I say "I am here to listen to you" the more helpful, loving encouraging words he shares.
This am. I read and reread and "not by might nor by power but instead by my spirit says the Lord Almighty" - Zechariah 4:8; spoke to me & it helped me to stay away from tempting foods.
Fast forward to a few hrs ago when I was encountering a few things one after another to potentially keep me at home continuing to work instead of going to an import .meeting which makes 4 an easier week . When I barely asked God if I should attempt again to get there ,Zechariah 4:8's meaning came to me. His spirit got me there, thank u Lord I love u.
The photo of your bible really added to your warm encouragement and the word.I too doubt myself so often..I am going 2 keep Genesis 4:7 in mind.thkx so much Diane!

Caroline, I'm so blessed that you came by to read. I know how busy you are. Thank you so much for sharing how God's Word in Zechariah minitered Life to you. I can remeber the first time I read that verse. Over and over I read it - just like you. Man, did it carry me!

And I'm so glad that what Betty and Lolita wrote ministered to you as well.

One day, my friend, I'm believing you will be blogging! You have much to offer!

God bless you!

You "do well" with each blog as you share what He puts on your hear. This week I heard "Christian homes are alters to God". We need to pray peace and protection on our home and the homes of those we love. Thanks for providing an opportunity to share what He said. I pray you'll have peace in your home today!

Puts on your heart! Sorry

Diane Ronzino said...

How cool a Word is that, Ann! Thanks for sharing that.

And no need for the sorry, I read it as it was supposed to be!

I have been thinking of you and the coming church BBQ. While I never doubt that it will turn out well, still I have prayed against what the enemy wants to do to you... to infect your heart with lies because of a difficult past circumstance. So glad to read this post and how the Holy Spirit ministered to you directly.

Have been encouraged many times these past weeks... wrote about it on my blog.

I was also encouraged when Betty came over to visit me for the first time. Her visit truly delighted and encouraged me.

Much love

Diane Ronzino said...

Lidia, thank you so much for your prayers. They availed much, my sister! And I am so appreciative! Truly...thank you!

I'm so glad Betty came to visit. I'm so glad you were delighted and encouraged. That ability flows naturally from her.

Have a wonderful evening, Lidia!

Something God spoke into my quiet time recently was while I was thinking about His blood covering and praying it over my life and others. The thought I wrote was: "You wear my blood covering like the scarlet ribbons of Rahab. You walk in me and my protection. I move to break the power of those who do not serve me, but are against me. I deliver you and bring you into my land of milk and honey." I believe this is His encouraging word not just to me but to all of us who seek Him and His heart.
