Emerald

I read Pam's post over at Writing...Apples of Gold.  It is so beautiful that I'm asking you all - if you haven't been to blog in the last day or so - to please go and read her post entitled Emerald.

Truly, you will be blessed.

If you have never been to her blog, I exhort to become a member. Her writing is so extraordinary, it whisks the heart away to heavenly places. You are missing God's Voice to you.

Because of Him and Unto Him,

Well, now you have ME in tears, Diane. I was so hoping this particular post would touch everyone because it seemed like the Holy Spirit kept putting it on my heart.
Thank you for passing it on! I was so moved by that movie, and all the Lord brought to mind in it... I have one more idea connected to it, but wasn't sure if I was already beating this theme too much...

Something to keep coming back to...to glean from the words others reflect at the beautiful message.

A host of Emeralds graces Pam's blog.

I find in them the beauty of the Creator.

Thanks for leading others to it, D.

Diane,

How fun to meet you! Thanks for stopping by my site "Jottings from Jennifer" after finding me at Pam's site.

You have a lovely site here. Your memoir excerpt was so sad. I'm so sorry. I am so thankful that our Abba whispered gentle, healing truth to your girl heart later. You are precious to him.

Nice to meet you. :)

Welcome, Jennifer!

Gee, I didn't mean for anyone to take away from the story a feeling of saddness, rather to be awed by the miracle of inner healing that Jesus does for those who need it. I'm sorry that you felt that way.

Thanks for taking the time to come and read and to comment. God bless you!

Diane... I just tried to leave you a comment question on your health link, but it only offers google or open id to leave it (rather than Name/URL I usually use on your site), and I can't get it to work.
Here's what I wrote just now:

Diane, I've been wondering about natural sugars like maple syrup and honey... do you know if they are okay... I have concerns due to
the C that I've had. I have pretty much cut out sugar except for some that is in some organic nonfat yogurt and very occasional sweet treat. I watch not to have anything with high fructose added, never drink pop etc. But I wonder if I could safely add honey to things like oatmeal, fruit and almond milk smoothies, etc. Or a little maple syrup. Did your studies say anything about this? Or raw sugars like raw brown sugar?

Pam, I am so sorry that you couldn't leave a response. I will have to check on that. Thank you for letting me know, and thank you for posting this question.

It is a very good one!

Normally, I would say they were OK in a limited amount. However, with what you are battling, I would cut even that out for a while. C cells feed on sugar. We definitely don't want to be feeding them!

The best thing you can do for yourself right now would be to do some juicing of vegetables, as that will get the nutrients direcly into your bloodstream immediately. Eating RAW veggies is good for you as well. I'm going to reply to Lolita's comment on the Health for life blog today. Maybe that would help. I will be praying that you will be able to get a good juicer (one that eliminates the pulp).

Thank you again for letting me know about the other blog - it may be a setting I need to check. Thank you for inquiring about the sugar!
