Yes, my Diane. I love sunsets, and I consider this stage of my life to be in God's doorstep.Sighh, and sigh, I am almost there!
Interesting thought Diane...comforting for sure to know there is a welcome mat waiting us as the sun sets. Love this. Blessings my friend.
I always take a deep sigh when looking at sunsets - especially over the water. It brings such peace to my soul - as if my Father, had Handwritten me a note.Almost there!
Diane-such a peaceful photo of the waters-so calm and filled with peace. When Betty mentioned "the Welcome Mat" in Heaven-again a memory hit me:Matt's Sister and Dad both were battling Cancer together-she had fought Breast Cancer for years and now it was after every piece of her body. His Dad developed Cancer of the Pancreas and his time was short."Pop" as I loved to call him passed just three months before his daughter. I recall the service, watching as they brought her through the side door of the church, giving her a few minutes to sit at this service in honor of her Dad. Suddenly they took her out and then the Priest spoke-he started by saying "I made a promise to share this message with you before I say anything else. "Pop" asked me to tell his daughter "Don't Worry-Dad will walk really slow and Will be Waiting for you at the GATES!"Oh my-tears filled that church and we were so moved at the LOVE of a Dad-telling his daughter while she was on her final days-that he would BE THERE! I was blessed to know and love both of them and they touched my life so deeply. Thank you for allowing me to share this story. I think each person is being very moved by the Words of Scripture-as it opens our hearts and minds to recall memories such as this! When these times were happening, who would have dreamed that so many years later, we would each be sharing in such a special way!!!God is really guiding you Diane. Thank you for being so fully open to HIM.Martha Herden
