The Day Before

The day before "Holy Thursday".

The day before Jesus would have His last supper with His beloved friends.

The day before His agonizing decision in the Garden of Gethsemane.

The day before...

Do you think He was thinking about you and I?

Because of Him and Unto Him,

What must have been going through His mind? It's a powerful thing to imagine, isn't it?

Diane-
So many "moments" leading up to the death of Jesus; HIM knowing what lay ahead, HIS face on the ground, praying in agony, asking HIS FATHER if it be possible for This Cup to pass HIM by-yet only if it be the Will of His FATHER.

As Christina said, It is such a powerful thing to imagine-I do not know what all filled His Heart-but I do feel LOVE was all over HIM and HE knew-dying on that Cross-out of LOVE for us.

These next days-Holy Thursday, Good Friday, The Easter Vigil and then the beauty of EASTER-knowing our beloved Lord has Risen: there is such Spiritual Meaning in each day, that gives us a tiny glimpse of what ONE Human MAN did for us-and now HE is our HEAVENLY FATHER.

Thank you Diane-for helping to open our hearts-so we can be reminded of His terrible Suffering and Abundant LOVE.

I can't imagine the pain mentally He must have suffered. It really makes me stop and think about His extravagant love for us, Diane.

When He uttered the word, "It is done," Jesus was referring about what the Father has sent Him for on Earth. The will of the Father... Jesus was focused on the Love that the Father has for us...that He sent Jesus to die for us... and the love of the son for the Father... that made Jesus do the will of the one who sent Him. All for love, yes Jesus thought of you and I.
