I'm going to answer my own quesiton. I've been meditating on this photo on and off all day. Yes, I get the usual message of hiding and resting in the shadow of The Almighty.

But, I get this as well: Looking at all the ducklings lined up under the mother's wing, I'm in awe of how there is room under God's protective wing for ALL His children at the same time. Our God is such a BIG, BIG God with Love and Protection enough for all. For all of you and me, together, my sisters and brothers!

FOR US ALL! HALLELUJAH!

Hallelujah!!!! Amen, and amen.... He is my shelter and my fortress, against the enemy. How I love to huddle closely among my fellow-God's-children, inside the warmth of his protective wings.

Yes, D. He is our mighty and loving unchangeable REFUGE, from anything at all.

Well I will give this a Texas thought to it--

I feel like this

"Heh guys--Come on out--its a GREAT day to play!!! After all, Mom is not watching us right now---is she??"

I picked up on the watchful eye of a Mother--just as we are in the watchful embrace of our Lord.

This is a wonderful photo-filled with peace, hope, joy, youth.....

i loved it Diane!! Martha Herden

Amen to you all, Cherished Women of God!

And Martha, you have a special, humorous way of looking at life. I love it. Something I need in my life!

Isn't it amazing how uniquely differnt we all are, but with one Absolute in common - Jesus Christ. I love it!

Diane-
Just as you said to me recently-
"What more could a girl want?" To have the bond of our love for the Lord, HE must be cherishing the moments of our sharing together, how we lift each other up so we can get through our bad days of Pain.

I Treasure this and bless you for talking about my humor!! It helps me more than I can even begin to explain-and I have learned that when the Pain is simply too much, the tears will come and before I know it, they are gently replaced with laughter! It doesn't make the Pain go away-it simply Helps and I think of it as a blessing from Above!!

Love and Blessings to you. Martha

Amen as well, Martha! "Laughter does good like medicine" God's Word says. Hallelujah! You didn't know you were a "drug" dealer, did you? LOL.

Now, that was supposed to be a FUNNY...I sure hope you took it that way!
