The Ripple Effect

i love to gaze upon droplets hitting the surface of still waters
there is a simple profoundness to my soul as i behold
the gentle drops producing circles of ripples - tiny
wave-like effects - in constant motion.

as I stare into the ripple effect,
I am drawn to ponder...
what are these droplets saying to me?

a still, small voice speaks to my heart,
"Thoughts be silenced.
Peace. Be still."

Because of Him and Unto Him,

Being still. Letting ourselves really live in the moment. One breath at a time. Like a child with all the time in the world to watch a bee on a flower :) Not struggling, not striving, just here.

Thanks D, this is a goo place to be.

A time to be quiet. Drinking in the moment of peace.

I remember Psalm 23. Thanks, Diane, for your beautiful insight.

Oh, yes, Psalm 23! I heard a Pastor from India once share his insight into Psalm 23. His Wisdom and understanding of the Psalm was astounding. It truly is the Psalm to bring peace to our souls!

Thank you for sharing!
